Q: What are acceptable payment options?
Answer: We have finally caught up with the times, WE NOW OFFER ONLINE BILL PAY! We accept cash, check, debit card, or credit card payments.
Your payment can be mailed in, dropped off, paid over the phone or paid online! If you have additional questions about payment please call (503.838.0464) for more details.
Q: Do we offer/have curbside glass pick up?
Answer: Yes, we do! If you have garbage service with us then we offer curbside glass pick up. The glass should be placed in our Yellow Bin or in a bin that you prefer without a top.

Q: Do you pick up paint? Can paint be dropped off at the Recycling Center? Can paint be placed in garbage (green) cart?
Answer: Paint is considered a hazardous material and needs to be disposed of properly. The best way to recycle paint is to take your used or unused paint to the Marion County Household Hazardous Waste Facility in Salem, Oregon. Please call them ahead of time to check hours of operation because they are limited hours and adjusted often. The phone number for them is 503-588-5169. Paint can be thrown away as trash if paint is completely dry, if not dry, customer may be responsible for any damages occurred. We highly encourage proper handling a disposing of paint, please utilize the Marion County Household Hazardous Waste Facility as the best and 1st option of disposal.
In the future (possibly by January of 2026) new programs may be in place for recycling empty paint cans at Recycling Depots near you.
Q: Do you take/pick up appliances?
Answer: We do accept appliances at our Office for free. If you are recycling freezers or refrigerators we encourage customer to contact Master Appliance in Monmouth at 503-838-1667, we are not certified to remove freon so additional steps need to be taken to recycle those two materials. Here is a list of appliances that we can dispose of: Microwaves, toasters, coffee makers, and BBQ’s without propane tanks. These items are recycled as scrap metal. If you need Brandt’s to pick up these items curbside, we can, there is an additional fee for us to come pick those up.
Propane tanks ARE NOT acceptable.
Q: Where can I recycle electronics?
Answer: That is a great question. Oregon has a fantastic program in place called Oregon E-Cycles. Oregon E-Cycles is a statewide program that provides responsible recycling for televisions, computers, monitors, printers, keyboards, and mice. Please visit their website at www.oregonecycles.org or call 1-888-532-9253 for a list of participating collection services and sites near you.
NEW: We are currently a recognized location for dropping off electronics. Electronics have to be placed in a secure location so drop off of all electronics needs to be done during our office hours. Monday through Thursday 8 – 4pm and Friday 8 – 3pm. Please come into the office to drop off all electronics. If you have any additional questions you can reach us at 503-838-0464 or stop by the office to speak directly to staff.
Q: Do you have junk removal?
Answer: Yes, we offer several different services for a wide range of junk removal projects big or small. We can pick up small item’s curbside, we can deliver a 1.5-yard container for your medium size projects, and we can also deliver larger roll-off boxes for large projects like house remodel or large junk removal projects.
Prices for each service vary, please call our office for additional information so we can pick the best service for what you need! Here are several examples:
- If you are looking to get rid of mattress, bed frames, couches, recliners, chairs, tables, dressers or desks (to name a few) we can pick those up curbside for an additional cost, just call when you want to set up the pickup!
- If you are looking to clean out a room of the house, garage or shed, we suggest getting a 1.5-yard container delivered.
- If you are looking to clean out a large project like the whole house, rental house, or if you are remodeling your home we suggest getting one of our roll-off boxes. We have 30 yard Drop Boxes. We only use 30 yard boxes to control inventory. We do not charge a flat rate you are charged based on the weight used in the box, allowing flexibility, weight is determined by ticket from scale house at the landfill with a pass through rate used at the landfill. When these boxes are used, you are charged a 1 ton minimum up front, any additional weight over 1 ton is charge separately.
